Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and materials- Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using GPS and transportation management systems- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and update databases- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Skills:
-MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK & WRITE IN ENGLISH- Strong knowledge of fleet management and transportation planning- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management- Familiarity with transportation management system LOAD BOARDS- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Schedule:
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Monday Through Friday
Work on weekends (rotating schedule)
Note: Experience in 3PL (third-party logistics) is a plus.
